How to ingest essential oils

Utilizing essential oils internally is surprisingly common in France. You can find over-the-counter medicine containing essential oils in a pharmacy store and you can purchase gel caps for digestive upsets, gel caps for stress, pastilles for digestion, a nasal spray and a few other internal gel caps mostly for the digestive system, stress, or the respiratory system.

The internal use of essential oils can be incredibly beneficial and effective for a range of digestive issues and gastrointestinal infections, urinary infections, and other infectious diseases. The internal use of essential oils may also be used to calm the nerves, support sleep, and reduce anxiety. The oral route allows essential oils to enter the digestive tract whereby they enter general blood circulation and enter into the liver for metabolism. Some components that enter the mouth may also be absorbed through the cheeks, the tongue and the lining of the throat. To make your own supplement add 4-5 drops of essential oils into the capsule, fill all the empty space with a carrier oil, close the capsule and take with a cup of water. If one of our family members get sick with stomach flu, which is very rare, and can't take essential oil internally I just apply the oil blend to the abdomen in circular motion. It always helped to stop the spasms and relieve inflammation as well as stop the vomiting. Consult with Aromatherapy Practitioner to find out how to use essential oils safely.
